New 548-metre bridge to connect Wynn Al Marjan Island with E311 and E611
Direct road access planned ahead of Spring 2027 launch
DUBAI – Ras Al Khaimah’s flagship tourism development has reached a key infrastructure milestone with the naming and continued construction of the Wynn Bridge, a 548-metre link connecting Wynn Al Marjan Island to the UAE’s main highway network.
Designed to improve access from Dubai and the Northern Emirates, the bridge forms part of a newly developed boulevard linking the island directly to the E311 and E611 motorways. The connection is expected to play a critical role ahead of the integrated resort’s planned Spring 2027 opening.
Wynn Resorts confirmed that construction of the bridge is now 48 percent complete, with nine of the 10 supporting columns already installed. Completion remains on track for late 2026, providing seamless road access to the resort well ahead of launch, the Nasdaq-listed company said in a statement issued on Monday.
Progress on new bridge
Piling works for the bridge have been completed, and the final column pile cap is nearing installation. Once finished, the bridge will form the primary access point to Wynn Al Marjan Island, significantly reducing travel times between Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah’s northern coastline.
The new route is expected to support increased visitor traffic as the emirate positions itself as a premium leisure destination.
Tower milestone
Construction across the wider resort continues to advance at pace. Wynn’s 71-storey signature tower has topped out at 299 metres, securing its status as one of the tallest structures in the Northern Emirates. Structural concrete works have been completed up to the roof, while installation of the steel roof crown has commenced. Façade works are 83 per cent complete, with more than 21,800 panels already installed.
All 1,530 guest accommodations, including rooms, suites, townhouses and Marina Estates, have reached full structural completion. Interior fit-out, mechanical and electrical works are progressing across the property, alongside elevator and escalator installations.
Supporting development
Low-rise buildings within the resort have reached 99 per cent completion, while air-conditioning systems serving podium office areas were recently commissioned. Beyond the resort, Wynn is also developing Oasis: A Wynn Community, a 26-acre residential project located around 15 minutes from the island. Scheduled to open in Summer 2026, the development will house more than 7,000 employees across 15 residential buildings.
Spanning over 60 hectares, Wynn Al Marjan Island will feature 22 dining venues, multiple pools, a private beach, luxury retail promenade, a deep-water marina for superyachts, a beach club, a grand theatre and Coral Court, a purpose-built events space.
